JOB DESCRIPTION

BPNA is currently seeking for qualified and dedicated Assistant in Nursing (AIN's) with 6-12 months paid working experience within aged care facilities in Australia. The successful applicants must have a passion for providing excellent care and support, and strive to deliver quality care to aged care residents.

We are a ‘boutique agency’ and take the time to know our customers and our nurses. We are looking for motivated, reliable and caring nurses with strong clinical skills, excellent work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and best possible care in all areas of daily living to aged care residents. The successful applicants must be available to work across a range of morning, afternoon and night shifts.

 Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • 6 months working experience within aged care facilities in Australia
  • Working knowledge of the Aged Care sector in caring for the elderly.
  • Current Police Check, flu vaccination & proof of working rights in Australia.
  • Certificates in manual handling, COVID-19, infection control and hand hygiene.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Deliver high quality clinical care to the older patient with dignity and respect.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Understanding of WHS procedures, infection control, manual handling and continuous quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to apply sound clinical knowledge and awareness, using holistic nursing processes to identify and meet assessed resident care needs.
