About our Therapy Services

Our Specialist Autism Therapy Services, includes a highly skilled team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Educators, and Therapy Assistants. Together this team deliver on a range of therapy services including Diagnostic Assessment, Direct Therapy, Specialist Speech/OT Programs, and a diverse range of therapy programs delivered across our centres and in community settings including home, childcare, and school. Our Therapy Team also have a number of specialist programs, including our Augmentative and Alternative Communication Team, Mealtime Management and a specialist Positive Behaviour Support Team.


About the Role

We are looking for dynamic and highly organised Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Team. Opportunities are available across the following teams including Early Intervention, School Aged Therapy, Adult Community Team and the Shared Living Therapy Team. Successful candidates we be selected to the program that matches their passion and career development goals.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Clinical assessment, development, and implementation of Individual Therapy plans
  • Direct Therapy across environments including a clinic, home, school and community
  • Delivery of Speech/Occupational Therapy groups
  • Specialist assessment Sensory/fine & gross motor/equipment
  • Specialist Programs such as Social adventurer & Kontakt Social Skills, PEERS social skills programs, research initiatives, and our Transition to Employment Program


About You

You will need to possess the following attributes and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with APHRHA
  • Highly motivated with a can-do approach
  • Highly organised and an ability to prioritise
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Team builder
  • Sound experience in working with people with disability and their families
  • High level communication skills
  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to working with people with Autism and their families
