Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a commitment to teamwork, and a strong interest in delivering excellence in clinical services related to assessment and treatment in rehabilitation?

We have a full time opportunity for Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient Allied Health team at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre. Previous experience within a rehabilitation setting, and/or experience in pain management or neurology is desirable.

In This Role You Will Be Required To
  • Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, individual or group intervention, planning and evidence based practice in our group programs
  • Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services to outpatients of varied diagnostic groups
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students

The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Selection Criteria
  • Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Current driving licence
