$90 - $110 per hour

Are you passionate about making a difference to a child's life? The team at OKAY Therapy are looking to expand and are searching for enthusiastic and skilled therapists to join our supportive team.

OKAY Therapy is a growing private practice based in the Geelong region. Our wonderful team of therapists work closely together to provide holistic and individualised services for children, adolescents and families. We are committed towards achieving client focused goals by providing meaningful, innovative and evidence based therapy to build relationships and enable positive change for children, caregivers and their support network. 

About the role:

We are looking for a fun, motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist who is looking for a long term position to work flexibly (3-5 days per week) to cater for our increasing demand for services.

As an Occupational Therapist at OKAY Therapy you will be providing assessments and individual therapy to children and adolescents with varying needs.

Your duties will include:

- Work with a varied paediatric caseload across a range of settings (clinic, home and community).

- Utilise a child centred and family focused approach to support and meet functional goals.

- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, school support staff and other allied health professionals.

- Administering individual and comprehensive assessment, goal setting and intervention to children to meet their needs.

- Implementation of therapeutic, evidence based interventions to children.

- Assist with developing and implementation of group programs.

- Timely and high standard completion of documentation, including assessment and progress reports, file notes and administration tasks in line with policy, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experienced Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of paediatric experience.
  • Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Current Working with Children's Check and Australian National Police Check.
  • Access to own transport with a current driver's licence.
  • Competent with administering assessments, targeted interventions and programs.
  • Ability to build great rapport with children, families and their support network.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
