Do you have a passion for better mental health care delivery, and particularly a passion for youth mental health? Are you able to unleash enthusiasm and innovation in your professional colleagues?

Monash Health is a large health service in Victoria, providing health care across a rapidly growing region of south-east metropolitan Melbourne. It is closely linked with Monash University. It is a proud provider of postgraduate training in psychiatry
Over recent years we have seen an increase in presentations of young people with eating disorders and consequently we are reviewing and expanding our services.
With this expansion, we are to reviewing our model of care, and how we deliver effective services across the inpatient-outpatient spectrum and across the full age range of 14 to 26.

The opportunity exists for a psychiatrist experience in eating disorders, with a zest for leadership, to contribute to this exciting growth and development. The task is to provide the clinical leadership and vision required for Monash Health to become a first class centre providing exceptional patient care and first class training in psychiatry.
Applicants must be registered to practice psychiatry in Victoria. There are two part-time positions, one at 0.5 EFT and one at 0.4EFT.
Application should include an updated Curriculum Vitae and names of three professional referees. Confidential enquiries, and/or site visits, can be made by contacting the Program Director, Professor David Clarke at david.clarke@monashhealth.org.
