Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic eMeds Application Specialist to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

Do you have qualifications in Pharmacy and/or relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting?

Do you have demonstrated highly developed analytical and problem solving skills within a multi-user clinical information system, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, and achieve business focused resolution?

This position is responsible for the day to day management of activities relevant to and assisting in the planning, configuration, testing and implementation of the eMeds applications within the eMR. Responsibilities also require an understanding and use of the PowerChart, clinical documentation and order management modules.

Although this position will be based at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital campus there may be a requirement to work from time to time at the other facilities in Sydney LHD.

The eMR Team provides support for a system that is in use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although this position is not a frontline clinical support position, the successful occupant may be required to provide support out of hours to ensure availability of the system. The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of the eMeds Team on-call support roster which provides 24/7 on-call eMeds application support to the Clinical Support and Training team.
