Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) are seeking dynamic Registered Nurses to join our team at Special Health Accommodation!

Do you hold current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)?

Do you have demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking?

This position involves working in the SLHD Special Health Accommodation (SHA) Nursing workforce and provides an opportunity to be part of the critical response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This position is a new and exciting position that will be key in the Infection Prevention and Control Team within SHA and provide support to other key stakeholders both internally and externally to SLHD. 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

To be considered for this role you must have…

  • The ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster.
