Our Client is a WA family-owned business located in Cottesloe and are market leaders in the supply of high-quality bedroom products. They now require a Sales Consultant to assist both lifestyle and healthcare clientele and be part of a team and an ongoing growing sector. This is an opportunity for a professional who is passionate about wellbeing and helping people.
The successful candidate with have financial acumen and demonstrated sales experience. An understanding of the healthcare sector will be favourable. A key objective of this role is to conduct internal retail sales, introduce and demonstrate product lines to clients both lifestyle and care professionals. This is NOT a pressurised sales position, rather is is a sales position that requires epathy, tact and resourcefulness.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • The job is multifaceted. You will be able to conduct internal advice and consultation to clients as well as introduce product lines and services to individuals and care professionals in the wider care industry. This will include product demonstrations with customers and care professionals so you will need to be comfortable in presenting to people and in physically handling and moving equipment.
  • You will be responsible for daily client appointments, having in-showroom products ready for demonstrations and close follow up.
  • You should be able to manage customer invoices, payments and delivery arrangements and be comfortable using technology to support sales and service execution.
  • A working week could be Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday as our client require the role to fulfill up to two Saturdays (10am-3pm) a month. There will however, be some flexibility within these arrangements.

What You’ll Need
  • Ideally you will have solid sales consultancy or detailed customer services experience and strong financial acumen.
  • You will need a confident and empathetic approach with all your customer dealings.
  • An absolute passion for improving people’s lives.
