POSITION: Enrolled Nurse
HOURS: Part-time 24 hours per week on a rotating roster
RESPONSIBLE TO: Responsible to the Chief Operating Officer through Residential Nursing Unit Manager

We are seeking a qualified Enrolled Nurse with the relevant Mothercraft/Parentcraft qualification and an understanding of parentcraft issues in the context of child & family health to join our team here at our Camden Residential Unit.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: ( must be addressed in your application)

1. Current National Nursing Registration with APHRA
2. Relevant Mothercraft/Parentcraft qualification 
3. Understanding of parentcraft issues in the context of child & family health
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
5. Demonstrates and understanding and is able to confidently work in partnership with families
6. Able to confidently work with culturally diverse families.
7. Demonstrates effective communication skills including computer literacy
8. Current NSW Driver’s licence- Class C 

Part-time employment status in accordance with the Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Nurses Agreement 2017. Shift times and days may be varied according to the needs of the organisation and are on a 24 hour rotating roster. Karitane services are provided at a number of sites within the Sydney Metropolitan Area.

The majority of Karitane’s services close for approximately two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave.
