Gloucester Hospital is an 80-bed facility which consists of a 20-bed acute ward, 15-bed aged care transitional ward, 25-bed nursing home and a 20-bed hostel. It has a 24-hour emergency department and provides medical, surgical, palliative care, limited obstetrics, and limited paediatrics, x-ray and physiotherapy services to the community of Gloucester. They have an excellent opportunity for a motivated Nursing Unit Manager to apply their skills to this pivital, permanent role!

About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 supports the Nurse Unit Manager Level 3 of Perioperative Services by facilitating the coordination of clinical services within the unit while providing clinical supervision, support and leadership to the staff to achieve customer focused quality care.

About you:
Then successful applicant will be a motivated and experienced individual who possesses effective communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means with the ability to utilise a range of communication strategies to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict. Your excellent time management and organisation skills will be utilised in both your administration and clinical duties. You will be an adaptable personable individual who has great leadership qualities and skills for assessing and supervising professional competence and performance of staff.
