Scrub/Scout Nurses- would you like the opportunity to work in a major teaching hospital with a statewide burns and trauma service? 

Where you'll be working

RNSH Operating Theatres has 20 operating theatres and performs more than 12,000 operations per year. RNSH Operating Theatres are capable of providing the following elective, emergency, and trauma services. RNSH Operating Theatres provides ongoing educational and professional development opportunities through CAP Program, structured in-servicing programs, and conference attendance.

What you'll be doing The NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Workforce will be compassionate, competent, confident, contemporary, capable and committed to leading person-centred health care.

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

  3. Current experience in perioperative scrub/scout nursing.
  4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
  6. A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  8. An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
