Salary: MP Year 1-2 $192,668 - $201,524 p.a (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and professional development allowance)

Position Profile: The Plastic Surgery Department is currently seeking a suitably qualified Plastic Surgery Fellow to undertake inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery care including Telehealth service under Consultant supervision. This is a senior position and the successful applicant would be expected to have substantial plastic surgery registrar experience. The position is ideally suited to a surgeon who has completed or is close to completing specialist plastic surgery training and would like to gain additional experience at a senior level. The Plastic Surgery Department is a busy tertiary plastic surgery service providing both elective and trauma plastic surgery services. The unit undertakes hand surgery, facial surgery, microvascular reconstructive surgery, elective breast surgery, head and neck reconstructive surgery, skin cancer, hand and soft tissue trauma. The unit provides plastic surgery cover for the State trauma unit and there are a significant number of complex reconstructive trauma cases. There is excellent opportunity to be involved in microsurgical cases.
