The Role
The Nurse Resource Team is Epworth’s internal Nurse Bank, you will support both Richmond and/or East Melbourne working in a casual capacity. You will play a pivotal role in supporting a variety of clinical units. You can choose to work across all clinical areas or choose to work in the areas of your choice – flexible and supportive team environment. Many of our permanent part-time and full-time staff have started as a casual in our Nurse Resource Team – it has been a very good stepping stone to launch many of our internal staff’s careers.

Grow your expertise through a wide range of clinical specialties, treatment options and the latest in technology. Our specialities across both sites include: orthopaedic, cardiac, general surgery, gynaecology, urology, breast surgery, endoscopy, neurology/neuro surgery, vascular thoracic and plastics, ENT and Otolaryngology, dialysis, acute medical and Oncology plus comprehensive cancer care.

To be successful in the role…
You will have at least one-year post graduate experience as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse experience in acute surgical.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available to work a minimum of 3 – 4 shifts per month
  • You must have Australian work rights to apply for this position
