The Role
In this full-time role, based in Richmond, you will join a progressive and dynamic team who house a 45-bed surgical unit across 2 units. The unit provides care for patients in the specialised areas of Vascular/Thoracic/Plastics and ENT, major head and neck surgery. You will be supported by a great team with excellent leaders and provided with the opportunity to increase your knowledge through extensive educational programs and opportunities.

You will make an impact by:

  • Having a strong base knowledge in either Vascular, thoracic, plastics, ENT or head and neck
  • A passion for surgical nursing and the patient journey
  • Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team with shared values
  • Demonstrating critical thinking and a collaborative approach

You will have:

  • Have current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Have flexibility to work across a 7 day, rotating roster
  • Relevant experience in any of the following specialties: Vascular, Thoracic, Plastics, ENT or head and neck
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
