32.0 hours per fortnight ongoing

Applications are sought from enthusiastic and talented Dietitians to join our dedicated Allied Health team in this permanent role. If you are looking for a new challenge and like the idea of working in a small team where you will experience a range of clinical exposure and great support, this is the perfect opportunity!

The Position:

In this role you will assist in the delivery of quality, cost effective and efficient Dietetic services, working closely with other Allied Health disciplines to provide person-centred care that improves the health outcomes and independence of the client. In addition, you will enjoy variety and challenge by contributing to the implementation of new initiatives and projects to ensure they are integrated into Dietetics programs and services.

The Team:

The BRHS Dietetics department operates within a friendly, supportive and collaborative Allied Health who will welcome you warmly to their team. The core Dietetic services include acute inpatients (including the Dialysis and Day Chemotherapy Units), inpatient rehabilitation, outpatients, aged care and community health programs including cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and diabetes groups. The Dietetics Department is supported by a team of Allied Health Assistants (AHA's) who assist with nutrition screening and monitoring of patients.

What you need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
  • Sound knowledge and some experience in one or more of the following clinical areas of practice: Acute Hospital, Rehabilitation Inpatients, Community Outpatients.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide client-centred and goal focused nutrition interventions.
  • Pro-active, clear and concise communication skills which promote service and client interests.
  • Ability to participate as an effective and collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team
