Morisset Hospital has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to step into a Clinical Nurse Educator position on a permanent full-time basis.

Morisset Hospital provides Mental Health Rehabilitation to consumers under the Mental Health Act and the Forensic Mental Health Act with a strong focus on building individual strengths and resilience. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Nurse Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, to support Excellence, clinical best practice, care and optimise clinical outcomes within Morisset Hospital. You will be supported by a high performing, multidisciplinary team including Allied Health Professionals, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Nurse Unit Managers & will report directly to the Nurse Manager Level 4. 

The successful applicant will have a passion for education and supporting nursing staff in the development and enhancements of their mental health nursing skills and interventions. You will possess high level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. 

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia. 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
