THE OPPORTUNITY

A unique and exciting ongoing opportunity as a Claims Specialist has become available in our Supporting Independence team. You will be responsible for providing industry leading claims service and support. You will work collaboratively with people who have a serious injury claim, their family and their supporting medical providers to achieve their goals. These goals will optimise quality of life and return to work outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide advice to stakeholders such as people who have a serious injury claim, employers, medical providers and activities of daily living providers to optimise independence
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical support experts to deliver evidence based service
  • Facilitate targeted and timely access to required services to support achievement of identified goals
  • Ensure case management is in accordance with SA legislation and compliance guidelines


About You
  • Have a genuine passion to work with people and deliver support within a legislative framework
  • Possess a high attention to detail, organisation and time management
  • A demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence a variety of stakeholders, whilst showing empathy and understanding
  • Previous claims/personal injury and/or disability management experience working within a legislative framework is desirable, not essential
  • A demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise competing demands
