As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.



We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.



Your new role



We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Neurology team. This is a Full Time position, working 80 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.



  • Oversee the admission and discharge of patients for the Video Epilepsy Monitoring Unit

  • Provide co-ordination for Epilepsy Unit activities

  • Coordinate the discharge and follow-up of patients admitted under the acute Neurology inpatient service


Your Contribution



  • You are a Registered Nurse within Australia

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in neurological nursing in an area with high exposure to the management of epilepsy [BC1] 

  • You display exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
