About the Role
Clinical and operational management of the Physiotherapy Service at Lithgow Hospital and Portland Tabulam Health Centre, including supervision of staff and service development.
Provision of high quality Physiotherapy to patients of NBMHN.

This will be a 12 month contract only.

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  1. Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated broad generalist knowledge and experience including advanced clinical reasoning and ability to apply professional judgement performing novel, complex or critical tasks. This includes essential hand therapy, casting and splinting skills, paediatrics and aquatic Physiotherapy.
  3. Proven ability to lead a team and prioritise and organise its workload.
  4. Demonstrated leadership and management skills utilising problem solving and a team approach in the planning, delivery, and coordination of patient care.
  5. Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns.
  6. Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of person-centered care, quality improvement and evidence based practice
  7. NSW drivers licence and willingness to drive for work purposes.
