Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) are seeking dynamic Clinical Psychologists to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

Do you have a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA? 

Do you have current registration to practice as a psychologist and endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology?
 

This position aims to support evidenced-based care for the treatment and management of mental illness and psychological conditions for people presenting to NSW health services in public settings.

It outlines the implementation of appropriate care that is consistent with current guidelines and has been shown to be effective in the treatment and management of mental illness and psychological conditions within the Australian context.

This position provides evidence based psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and treatment of psychopathology as it is manifested in cognitive, emotional, motivational, personality and behavioural disturbances. Patients/clients/consumers will be seen individually and may be seen in groups for treatment.

The Clinical Psychologist will be expected to work in a range of different clinical settings across the SLHD. Clinical work will occur within the context of a multidisciplinary health care team.
