Salary: MP Year 1-7 $131,299 - $175,977 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance)

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Position Profile: The Registrar Trainee positions in Neonatal Paediatrics will be part of a busy team working with the support of 5 neonatologists enthusiastic teachers and mentors. FSH has a 22 bed Level 5 NICU with 3300 births per year. The state of art neonatal unit is equipped with neonatal ventilators including High frequency ventilation, inhaled Nitric Oxide and therapeutic hypothermia facilities.

Fiona Stanley Hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country with a separate paediatric emergency department with attached 4 bed observation ward that sees 26,000 children/year. In addition there is a mother baby unit (8 beds) and a youth mental health inpatient service (16-25 yrs 12 bed). FSH has a busy ambulatory service with a 24 bed Level 2 general paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, adolescent health, neonatology, paediatric subspecialties neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, respiratory, surgery and immunology in paediatric adapted clinic space.
