Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Redfern Community Health Centre!

Do you have a current nursing registration with AHPRA and/or tertiary qualifications relevant to profession?

Do you have demonstrated competencies to provide contemporary mental health practice?

The Community Mental Health/Core Team model of care states:

The “Community Mental Health Team” (Core Team) is the mainstay of the community mental health system. Core Teams provide a range of clinical services including intake, assessment, consultation, treatment, and care coordination.

Care coordination is the main component of this model of care and includes extended care coordination, targeted packages of care, and short term care coordination.

Consumers under the care of Core Teams will either have:

  • Short-term interventions and may be discharged or referred back to their GPs or other treatment providers after a period of weeks or months.

  • A period of treatment as recommended by evidence based practices.

  • Ongoing care and monitoring for prolonged periods.

To be considered for this role you must have…

  • The ability to participate in a Monday-Friday roster

  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 Licence acceptable).
