JOB DESCRIPTION

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Ophthalmology team. This is a Part Time position.

Your Opportunity:



  • Part of a large trauma and referral centre

  • Deals with complicated internal and external referrals.

  • Ophthalmology department is made up of consultants, junior medical staff and orthoptists



About You:



  • Appropriate formal qualification

  • Minimum of one year Fellowship training in OPAL oculoplastic ophthalmic subspecialty and orbital surgery

  • Participate in on call roster

  • Participate in audit and clinical meetings

  • desireable: research publications in relevant fields
