Full Job Description
The Acute Care Services at the Mackay Community Health Centre is looking for a Project Lead Shifting Minds to join their team on a Temporary Full Time basis.

The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the Mackay HHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments..

Your role:
To coordinate and oversee all components of the development and implementation of the Safe Spaces Crisis support service, in partnership with the senior clinician at the direction of the Operations Director, MHAOD Division (or delegate). Engage with the state-wide reference group to ensure the program deliverables are on time and in line with the state-wide strategic direction of the Shifting the Minds Flagship.

Your team:
As part of the Queensland Health state-wide crisis system reform the Mackay HHS has received funding to establish a safe space crisis support service to deliver an adjunct clinical and non clinical support service alongside the emergency department to those currently experiencing a mental health crisis.
