What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to provide safe and effective nursing care to staff, patients or consumers using a person-centred approach. The goals of care will be within the professional boundaries and Scope of Practice of the Registered Nurse.

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcomes.

The Registered Nurse will be a part of the pandemic response and in accordance with NSW Health policy, administer vaccination programs to the community within the vaccination clinics.

Where practicable, the role may be required to work at other vaccination clinics. Adequate notice and consideration will be given should the need arise.

  1. Current Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
  3. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health CORE Values.
  4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, using information technology, written and verbal means while interacting with the team in a professional manner.
  5. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
  6. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
  7. Demonstrated skill in the use of relevant technology used in the healthcare arena and support the roll out of new technology and devices as they arise.
