About The Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver COVID-19 vaccination services within the Metro South Health COVID-19 Vaccination Centre.

This Includes

  • Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multi-disciplinary context.
  • Clinical education, supervision of observational students and allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.

The Vaccination Program is part of Metro South Health's Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). Our multidisciplinary team is responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of Metro South Health's COVID-19 Vaccination Program in line with the Commonwealth and Australian Government National COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout Plan. One of the Vaccination Programs key priorities is the establishment and management of COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the Metro South Health catchment area in collaboration with EOC Logistics, Operations and Procurement cells.

As part of the talent pool, you may be offered casual or temporary full time or part time opportunities that become available based on operational requirements.
