We are looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly and motivated speech pathologist to join our team. The Helipad – Speech Pathology is a small private practice in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne. We have a really broad range of clients and deliver intervention for: early intervention, AAC, literacy, school readiness, social skills, stuttering and speech. We are currently a team of four speech pathologists and have a fantastic receptionist. We all work closely together, share resources and have weekly team meetings. We have a shared office space, with everyone having their own dedicated desk, and the same working hours so it is very easy for us to all work together!

The Role:

  • Working with children aged between 2 to 15 years of age
  • Implementing speech and language assessments and interventions
  • Providing 1:1 sessions as well as group sessions
  • Clinic based however childcare, kinder and school visits may be required
  • Working school terms only (all school holidays off!) however the salary is still equivalent to working 48 weeks (plus 4 weeks annual leave) per year
  • Hours: 10:30am-6:30pm Monday-Friday
  • Start date: ASAP or Term 3, 2021

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors or Masters of Speech Pathology
  • Speech Pathology Australia Membership
  • Eligibility for registration with Medicare
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Experience working with kids

Desirable Criteria:

  • Completed Sounds Write training
