The Roles
Epworth HealthCare provides integrated clinical pathways across the full continuum of care which includes acute, rehabilitation inpatient and outpatient services as well as community-based services such as those provided by the Community Integration Team (CIT).

In the Part-time 6 months fixed term Occupational Therapist role you will be looking after patients in the community who have an acquired brain injury.

In the Full-time 11-month fixed term Occupational Therapist role you will be looking after the Rehabilitation needs of orthopaedic, pain management and neurology inpatients.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing best practice Occupational Therapy your patients
  • Supervising & coaching Grade 1 Occupational Therapists/AHA’s
  • Driving change and innovative ways of working
  • Leading by example

To be successful in this role…

You will need to juggle competing demands, have highly-developed problem solving, negotiating and prioritising skills. You will have knowledge of the compensable insurers such as TAC and clinical experience.

You will have:

  • Tertiary occupational therapy qualifications
  • Current occupational therapy registration with AHPRA
  • At least 2 years hospital experience as an occupational therapist
  • Previous experience in student supervision
  • A current driver's licence
