Position Overview

The Clinical Placement Trainer (Occupational Therapy) is part of a team of staff who develop and support a high quality sustainable clinical placement program in Occupational Therapy. These clinical placements for students in the program in the School of Health & Behavioural Sciences are based on the academic program and professional accreditation requirements. The Clinical Placement Trainer shares duties with the Clinical Placement Coordinator with the emphasis of this role being on supervising and training students while in their clinical placements to facilitate a quality educational experience and students’ successful completion of all learning objectives and the achievement of clinical competency.
