They offer health services to individuals and organizations to help address issues that may impact on an individual’s wellbeing and workplace performance. They also provide vocational, educational and professional training services to a variety of industries.

About the role

  • Permanent Role
  • Part-time - 4 days per week
  • Locations: 
  • Central Coast – Wyong & Gosford
  • Hunter - Newcastle & Charlestown
  • Working hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm - may be flexible
  • Can be based either at Central Coast OR Hunter as you can service the other location via telehealth
  • You can choose to be based in one region and visit the other region once a month
  • Caseload:
  • Work with a range of stakeholders to deliver health solutions to Government and private industry. A Health Services Officer conducts a variety of functions including assessments, individual and group interventions, case reviews, peer support to our stakeholders and sustainability programs with employers.
  • Conducting functional capacity assessments (including an awareness of multidisciplinary barriers), ergonomic audits, work site assessments and designing and coordinating graded return to work programs
  • Educating customers in safe work practices.
  • Modifying the work environment to suit the needs of customers to improve their productivity and prevent/minimise injuries or exacerbation of their symptoms.
  • Improving customers confidence and self-esteem in work and everyday environment.
  • Delivering individual and group programs and activities to enhance customer independence in everyday activities
  • Developing coping strategies for customers in overcoming their mental health challenges.
  • Liaison with internal multidisciplinary team as well as external medical and community health services.


  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • ESSA registration
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Full driver's licence
