About the facility

The Physiotherapy Department at University Hospital Geelong provides services to a wide range of clinical areas across the Hospital. Physiotherapy is predominantly inpatient focused with some outpatient services provided in orthopaedics, paediatrics and pelvic health. Our dynamic team provides inpatient physiotherapy to all wards of University Hospital Geelong. Specialties include surgical, medical, orthopaedics, neurology, paediatrics, RAPU, oncology and the Emergency Department.

About the role

Barwon Health’s RAPU and Oncology team within the Physiotherapy department are looking for an organised, dynamic and flexible team player with clinical knowledge, skills and experience in the RAPU, oncology, and General medical clinical areas.

You will provide physiotherapy service delivery to the RAPU Unit and Oncology ward, applying evidence based, informed, patient centred care within a multi-disciplinary setting. Rotational Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Undergraduate Students will require your leadership, teaching and supervisory expertise when they work in your area. Your own professional supervision and development will be valued and you will be supported to achieve your goals. Weekend work (as part of a team roster) will form part of this role.
