We are looking for therapists who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of people on the autism spectrum, their families and their communities. Multiple itinerant roles servicing City of Sydney, Northern Sydney, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains/Hawkesbury, Hunter, Mid North Coast, Central Coast, Northern NSW, Murrumbidgee and Illawarra regions of NSW.

  • Technology provided including phone and laptop
  • Full and part time, permanent and maximum term contracts available depending on experience
  • $70k to $105k p.a. FTE salary package range - (inclusive of superannuation and pro rata for part time/contract term)

What you will bring to the role?

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Passion to engage with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families and carers
  • Ability to assess and tailor evidence-based supports to meet the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families/carers /communities
  • Outstanding communication, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills for managing your caseload and completing admin requirements
  • Proven ability to establish rapport with participants and families and the ability to empower others to implement and maintain strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current valid driver’s licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per kilometre) and willingness to travel across your local LGAs
  • A professional set up in your home for report writing, accessing online meetings and conducting Teletherapy videoconferencing
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Appropriate Working With Children Check clearance check for paid employment in the State or Territory in which you work
  • Current first aid qualification, CPR and anaphylaxis certificate (preferred)
  • Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is also required. If you have not already completed the module, click here to access it.
  • You may be required to provide an International Police Check clearance
