Unit Manager - COVID-19 Melton Vaccination Hub - Western Health

An exciting opportunity exists for a Unit Manager to play a key role in establishing the Melton COVID-19 Vaccination Hub and lead the team in the roll out the COVID-19 Vaccinations.

This position is based in Melton.

Western Health’s COVID-19 Vaccination hubs are being rapidly established to meet demand for vaccination. Preparations have commenced for the next mass vaccination site in line with the West Metro Regional Plan.

The successful applicant for the UM role will be a driven, agile and experienced Registered Nurse /Midwife who will play a valuable role in the establishment and management of the Melton COVID-19 Vaccination hub.

Flexibility will be essential in this role as the COVID-19 Vaccination Hubs are dynamic work environments that change and evolve to meet demand of the statewide vaccination program.

About You

Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent

Current registration as a Registered Nurse / Midwife in Australia

Credentialed Nurse Immuniser, including minimum 12 months clinical experience providing immunisation services

Five or more years of clinical nursing experience

Possesses relevant postgraduate qualification

Demonstrated excellent clinical and organisation skills

Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated project management experience
