Full Job Description
The Queensland Tissue Bank are looking for a Manager in Production and Operations to join their team. The successful applicant will deliver and coordinate the tissue production and manufacture to facilitate the supply of allograft (including but not limited to ocular, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and skin tissues) as per all relevant legislation, codes and standards of practice which govern organ and tissue donation, transplantation and tissue banking licencing and scope of practice.

About the Role

Provide technical expertise in, and understanding of, skills in tissue production activities including production and manufacturing techniques, and development and implementation of new techniques and products in the field while maintaining compliance within licensing and regulatory framework.
Represent the QTB at a local/national level at relevant meetings, committees or conferences and regularly prepare, present and distribute accurate and timely reports for information or review purposes and/or as required under legislation on relevant donation and production outcomes or processes.
Participate in, and often lead, the planning, development and implementation of programmes associated with the requirements of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviours in the work environment and provide ethical decision-making in the achievement of organisational goals.
