Clinical Improvement Advisor


Clinical Risk Management Department


RN Grade 4 or Allied Health Professional equivalent
Fixed Term Part Time
(48 hrs per fortnight)


Parental Leave replacement 


We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join our dedicated Clinical Risk Management team. This temporary part time position is available immediately until May 2022, and includes working weekdays, excluding public holidays. The successful applicant will work within the Clinical Improvement, Risk and Innovation (CIRI) team, to support and facilitate the provision of safe clinical care by enabling clinical teams to develop, implement and evaluate improvement strategies.



Key Selection Criteria include:


Essential:



  • Health Professional with AHPRA registration

  • A passion to improve the clinical care provided to people within our care

  • The ability to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders

  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication

  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills


Desirable:



  • Post graduate qualifications in quality or risk or improvement science

  • Experience in quality or risk management

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience in evaluation strategies

  • Experience with change management strategies

  • Experience with data collection and analysis
