Applications are now open to candidates anticipating initial registration as a Registered Nurse in 2022 to join the


Monash Health Graduate Program


in the following streams:



  • Acute Care

  • Complex Care

  • Midyear Nursing


Please note to apply for these streams you must be eligible to participate in Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Allocations and Placement Service.


These streams offer Graduates:



  • A twelve-month structured program to consolidate your skills

  • Permanent employment is guaranteed with Monash Health Bureau (Pool) at the completion of the program, at your choice of part-time or Full-time EFT

  • A comprehensive orientation program conducted over December 2021 - January 2022


 Part time hours



  • 0.84 EFT; 64 hours per fortnight or 0.95EFT 72 hours per fortnight

  • Five (5) weeks annual leave pro rata over twelve (12) months or


 Full time hours



  • 1.0 EFT; 76 hrs per fortnight + ADO hrs accruing at 4 hrs per fortnight

  • Six (6) weeks annual leave pro rata over 12 months


 Commencement



  • Acute Care and Complex Care streams have a clinical commencement date in February 2022 (TBC) with a comprehensive orientation program conducted in January 2022.

  • Midyear stream has a clinical commencement date in August 2022 (TBC) with a comprehensive orientation program conducted in July 2022.

  • Prepare your application as per the ‘2022 Monash Health Graduate Program Application Guidelines’ (see the ‘Position Documents’ section below)

  • Submit your application to the job advertisement on the Monash Health Mercury website

  • Register with PMCV Allocation and Placement Service https://allocations.pmcv.com.au/. You will be required to provide your Candidate ID number in your Monash Health Application Template.

A word document copy of the template can be found in the ‘Position Documents’ section of this job advertisement or on the Monash Health Graduate Program website


2. Academic Transcript


As part of your application, you will need to submit a copy of your most recent official academic transcript.


3. Clinical Appraisals


Upload your two (2) most recent summative clinical appraisal documents/tools under the ‘Other Documents’ field when you submit your application documentation.


Working with Children’s Check, Fit2Work Police Check & Immunisation Check, NDIS Worker Screening check (where relevant)


A current ‘Employee’ Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), a valid Fit2Work police check and a complete immunisation status check is required for all successful graduate applicants. Any offer of employment will be confirmed on the successful outcome of a police check and WWCC. Any applicants requiring NDIS screening checks will be contacted prior to commencement clinical areas, this is not required to be submitted with your application.
