About Monash Health Imaging

Monash Health Imaging is Victoria’s largest public radiology provider dedicated to providing patient focus sed services to the people of South East Melbourne and surrounding communities. Monash Health Imaging has hospital sites at Clayton, Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey (Berwick), Kingston and two Dental Imaging practices. Included at these sites are a full range of modalities including CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Interventional Angiography, Mammography, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and Bone Densitometry.

Monash Health Imaging Dandenong Hospital is a friendly and supportive team that encourages learning and skill development. The department is busy and the work is varied providing opportunities for development. You will be a member of a team providing efficient and quality imaging to not only the Greater Dandenong community but across the Monash Health catchment that provides services to the outer southeast of Melbourne and West and South Gippsland.


This role will be based at Dandenong Hospital (discounted staff parking is available).

The role may involve some travelling to other Monash Health sites.

About the Role:

  • Work a 10 day fortnight, across seven days a week and will include day, afternoon and night shifts. In all, we are offering a role ideal for someone keen to continue their professional growth, working in a dynamic and busy imaging department. You will work clinically with dedicated staff both within and outside of Monash Health Imaging

  • Rotate your work to maintain skills across your areas of expertise and perform shift and on-call work

  • Model the values of Monash Health and the culture of Patient and Person Centred Care


  • Drive a culture of excellence in service and care to patients and families

  • Work with all Monash Health Imaging supervisors to excel and maintain standards in all imaging

  • Assist with the education of staff, students and other professionals

  • Ensure safety is maintained for all persons and equipment

  • Shift and on-call work is required

What we're looking for in You:

  • Strong commitment to and the ability to follow standards of excellence in imaging

  • Current registration with the MRPB of Australia

  • Current Victorian Radiation User licence

  • Current Police check and valid Employee Working with Children card
