JOB DESCRIPTION








The Department of General Medicine is offering a limited number of Advanced Trainee positions to Doctors who are either seeking to complete training requirements in their current area of training or who are seeking to gain further training within General Medicine.



The positions on offer are inclusive of one 6 month rotation between August 2021 and February 2022, with the option to reapply for 6/12 months in 2022.



Royal Melbourne Hospital offers a structured training program with opportunities to rotate through services and subspecialties includingNeurology,Intensive Care Medicine,Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Respiratory,Palliative Care,Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Epworth General Medicine, Albury Wodonga General Medicine and Cardiology & Renal/Nephrology at Ballarat Health Service.



About you:



  • Completion of Basic Physician Training

  • Strong supervision and leadership skills

  • Extensive experience in providing professional supervisor and mentoring to junior medical staff.
