The Role
You are either an EN or RN looking for a part-time or full-time opportunity (tell us in your cover letter.) You will work across two wards (72 beds) caring for both neurosurgical and neurological patients. We treat both acute (such as stroke and surgery for brain and spinal tumours) and chronic conditions (such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease), keeping in mind that this isn’t rehabilitation.

You will make an impact by:

  • Looking after a varied mix of neurology and neurosurgical patients across two wards (72 beds)
  • Providing high quality nursing care and experience to patients
  • Utilising a reflective, critical thinking and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
  • Working collaboratively with fellow members of the multidisciplinary team

You will have:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Relevant Neuro surgical nursing experience or acute nursing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in stroke service and acute neurological care would prove beneficial
  • Flexibility in your thinking
  • The ability to work a rotating roster across AM, PM and Night shifts
