About the role

Addressing Adolescent Violence and Restoring Family Relationships, Step Up aims to reduce adolescent violence and increase the safety of all family members through the provision of a family-based case management and group-based support to young people and their care givers. The Step Up program is an early intervention program that works with 12 – 17 year olds therapeutically with their families within a family-focussed framework.

Join a fun, focussed and committed team who work with families is to strengthen the parent-adolescent relationship and provides holistic long term support. In this position you have the ability to make the role your own and use your initiative and creativity to provide support and positive engagement to our families.


Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Psychology, Family Therapy or related discipline.

About you

As a dedicated and committed individual, you will provide services to our young people and their families, providing in home support and case management services. You will complete thorough safety and wellbeing assessments, care plans and therapeutic interventions, applying a range of strategies to achieve client outcomes that are in the best interest of the young people and families. You will be driven to assist families to achieve long-term positive outcomes and be confident to run small group sessions with families engaged in the program.
