Due to our continued success we are seeking an Area Manager based in Tamworth, NSW, for this unique opportunity. The purpose of the role is to lead our rehabilitation services and develop a team of Rehabilitation Consultants to deliver the highest quality injury management services across this regional area of NSW.

This is a managerial role with the successful candidate being responsible for establishing a successful team of consultants, along with the overall performance & financial outcomes of the region. You will be exposed to outcome, revenue and billable figures for your team and will be required to demonstrate commercial skills and accountability.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Establish a strong team of consultants to ensure the provision of highest quality injury management services;
  • Developing staff competencies, building independent, skilled and professional rehabilitation consultants;
  • Maximising staff productivity through the monitoring of KPI's and individual performance;
  • Promoting a culture embracing an ongoing commitment to professional development;
  • Develop and share innovations in injury management with our experienced and diverse management team;
  • Account Management including relationship management of current customers as well as business development of new opportunities.
About you
  • Demonstrated Occupational Rehabilitation senior experience - (mandatory), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist;
  • Strong & current understanding of NSW workers comp legislation - (mandatory);
  • People management experience - (not mandatory but highly regarded);
  • Passion for motivating individuals, creative thinking and achievement of outcomes;
  • The ability to communicate effectively and vary your management approach;
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving;
  • Honesty, integrity, good team attitude and positive approach;
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Strong relationship building skills and a passion for account management.
Applicants will be required to obtain a current valid Police Clearance.

This is a full time position, however applicants seeking a part time position will be considered.
