“Work Whenever You Want, From Wherever You Want And Make A Big Difference.”

If you are a registered Clinical Psychologist with experience or interest in working with chronic pain patients, you can join our dedicated team and work as many or as little hours as you like from anywhere you have access to internet.

This allows you to either work a few hours a week between other appointments, or to work full time, depending on your personal needs. You can simply indicate which hours you would like to make available to clients.

There is a minimum of 5hr a week requirement to start, but no maximum amount of hours, which allows you to keep your current employment active.

Who We Serve

Our clients are business owners, professionals and anyone with a career they want to succeed in who has been suffering from persistent or unpredictable levels of pain for more than 6 months, and it’s affecting their work and life.

What We Do

We help our clients better manage their pain so they can take less time off work and be more productive when at work. We aim to ease the constant worry that they’ll become or be seen as being an unreliable person and miss out on a raise, promotion or business opportunity or even lose their job or business because of the erratic nature of the pain, the unpredictable flare-ups, as well as the depression, anxiety and irritable moods that come along with it.

How We Serve Our Clients

Through multiple meta-analysis, the current evidence shows us that chronic pain is best managed collaboratively by a multidisciplinary team of clinical health professionals, including a doctor who is up to date in the most recent advances in pain as well as a clinical psychologist and an exercise physiologist.

The service is run online and caters to clients throughout Australia.

Our software is end-to-end encrypted to ensure security and confidentiality and we provide a platform where you can store client data, access a variety of client questionnaires and communicate with other professionals in our team.

This is a perfect opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with persistent pain.

If you are hired for this position, you'll be paid $150 per hour as an independent contractor. You will work from wherever you have an internet connection and will be free to set your own hours (minimum 5hrs a week).

You'll provide video consultations and ongoing communication and accountability via encrypted text.

The company offers a casual, fun environment, nice clientele and the opportunity to develop your professional skills.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others…

Who we are looking for

  • You're a Clinical Psychologist with current AHPRA registration
  • You have previous experience or strong interest in working with chronic pain patients
  • You have previous Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) experience. Also, preferably but not mandatory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) experience
  • You have Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willing to obtain)
  • You are available at least 5 hours a week
  • You are reliable, caring and compassionate (you will be working with people in constant pain)
  • You see your job as more than just a pay check and are happy to go over and above when the need arises. The wellbeing of our clients is extremely important to me and I expect the same from everyone we work with
  • You enjoy working autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive interdisciplinary professional team, and are able to adapt as needed
  • You will be responsible for contributing to, and maintaining, high ethical standards and evidence-based practice
  • You must have a reliable computer with webcam, and stable internet connection (you will be working from home with video calls)
