About the role

As the National Occupational Therapy Services Lead you will plan and manage operations and service delivery of our Occupational Therapy Services. You will also provide leadership to WorkFocus Australia’s Occupational Therapists, ensuring our objectives of assisting our clients return work and wellbeing are met.

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and coach the OT team to undertake work in accordance with divisional priorities, policies and processes
  • Ensure active implementation of the WorkFocus Australia’s Occupational Therapy Service Delivery Model on all cases
  • Develop and implement strategies with team members to progress files to achieve return to work within cost and duration benchmarks
  • Develop Occupational Therapy specific product and services in response to customer and business needs
  • Deliver training and any other services when required (internal)
  • Regularly review risks (internal and external) including legislative changes, to support business planning and response
  • Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and encourage and foster this focus organisation wide
  • Work with account managers to ensure client relationships are maintained and business development/growth is maximised

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Qualifications & registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is compulsory)
  • 5 years experience as an OT
  • Strategic management with demonstrated success in the delivery of occupational rehabilitation services
  • Experience in staff recruitment, training, coaching, development and performance management
  • Claims management integrity with adherence to contractual guidelines and requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of worker’s compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation.
