Have a completed Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Pharmacy Support with recent relevant work experience in a community or hospital pharmacy, laboratory or other relevant setting where accurate measuring is required?

About the opportunity:

Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) is seeking undergraduate Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health students, and Enrolled Nurses, looking to gain experience in a variety of frontline clinical and clinical support roles across the Local Heath District.

This is a great opportunity to give back to your community, as well as gaining invaluable experience, as you become an integral part of our Workforce Surge Response. Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians will assist in all aspect of vaccination cold chain, production and inventory control at our vaccination centres.

About you:

The successful candidates will have high attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be team player with the ability to work independently and establish effective collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team. You will have excellent prioritisation and time management skills to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete work activities. You will have familiarity with cold chain and stock logistic management and demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
