The position

Are you passionate about waste and want to make a difference in the community? We are looking for an individual to coordinate our waste operations at Henderson Waste Recovery Park (HWRP) ensuring implementation of deliverables in the City’s Waste Strategy and providing direction to the local community.

The successful applicant will possess:
Comprehensive knowledge gained through previous experience, training or education in waste management.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to waste management, environment, local government, occupational health and safety and equal opportunity.
Demonstrated experience in a senior role in waste and contract management.
Highly developed budget preparation and management.
Highly developed communication skills including report writing.
Highly developed management, supervisory and organisational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Sound knowledge of administrative procedures and record keeping skills.

Salary: $100,017 - $105,958 (depending on qualifications and experience).
