JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

Our client are looking for a motivated speech pathologist to join their established team. They are looking for therapists who truly enjoy working with their clients and who will go above and beyond to see them achieve their goals. The position is 3 to 5 days per week (hours on these days are flexible).

By meeting this client in their clinic, we would vouch for the potential for someone to flourish in their early stages of speech therapy career. Their will be no shortage of guidance to assist you as you embark on your career as a speech pathologist

Role Duties:

  • Administering assessments
  • Administering therapy sessions in 1:1 or group service models with clients and their families/primary carers
  • Completing progress notes/documentation
  • Completing reports
  • Liaising with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues
  • Conducting training sessions

Essential Criteria

  • Qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Current drivers licence
  • Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to become a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Clearance
