Salary: MP Year 1-7 $131,299 -$ 175,977 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance)

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6 or 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 09/10/2021. Appointments for this position will not commence until 2022.

Position Profile: The Registrar – Trainee – Palliative Care will provide high quality palliative care to hospital, hospice and community patients and their families, assess acute patients, prescribe treatment and decide on suitability for admission, and attend outpatient clinics where required by the local Head of Palliative Care. Allocation to specific sites will be arranged during the interview and selection process with consideration given to the individual training needs of successful applicants including completion of mandatory modules for palliative care advanced trainees.
