Period of Employment

Fixed term, full-time, day work working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2022.

Mental Health Services South


Working as part of the Reform Implementation and Operationalisation Team within the broader SMHS Reform Program, the Project Officer will:

Take lead responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and review of a number of key reform program deliverables which are to be achieved by the identified target dates.

Participate in various meetings and be a positive role model and advocate for reform.

Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Work collaboratively with the relevant reform team to undertake functions associated with the broader SMHS Reform Program.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check

Desirable Requirements
Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution.

Current Driver’s Licence.
