About the Opportunity
Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the Operational Strategy for Medical Care within the District, working in alignment with Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts Strategic Plan.
  • Overseeing a systematic approach to strategies to promote the prevention of unnecessary hospitalisations and promoting early and appropriate discharge planning.
  • Ensuring the effective embedding of Leading Better Care Strategies within the Acute inpatient setting, working in partnership with Clinical leads and integrated partners.
  • Leading the recognition of subacute strategies, supporting an improvement in an understanding as to the capturing of sub-acute activity.

The successful applicant would need to align their application with the accountabilities of a Nurse Manager Grade 4.
