An exciting opportunity exists to join the Hornsby Physiotherapy Department as a Weekend Physiotherapist. The position available is for a 7 hour shift every Saturday, and for a 7 hour shift every second Sunday covering ED, acute and rehabilitation wards. Job share will be considered for suitable applicants.

What you'll be doing
The provision of high quality Physiotherapy services to the patients of Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.

  2. Qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and current AHPRA Registration.

  3. Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.

  4. Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.

  5. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of physiotherapy service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.

  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).

  7. Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships
